ASHOK BADARADINNI PASSED AWAY

The fear of death dogging int he month of December has struck in the month of November. The tragedy of Anil and Uday, Dr M Balamuralikrishna and today Ashok Badaradinni early in the morning died at Chitradurga after prolonged illness.

Ashok Badaradinni a theatre exponent, film and TV actor was 65 years. He leaves behind his wife Anasooya, daughter Shilpa, Shubangi and son Prakash.

Hailing from Bagalkot district Achanur village the family of Ashok Badaradinni was in to agriculture. He was 6th in SSLC for the state. He studied B Sc and went o New Delhi for three years NSD course. All the three years he won the gold medal for his exceptional strength. He was in BV Karanth team Benaka, travelled various places staging plays.

Ashok Badaradinni brother Umesh Badaradinni was also director of one Kannada film ‘Bidalaare Endu Ninna’. Ashok in fact directed only one Kannada film ‘Gowrishankara’ besides acting in 75 films,  directing 200 plays and acting 20 plays and forty plus television serials.

 
Ashok Badaradinni passed out SSLC in 8th rank, he did Bachelor in Science and was about to step in to Medical science but theatre and fine arts attracted him.

 
He is the winner of gold medal for all the three years of direction course. In ‘Gijaganagoodu’ he made debut and it was ‘Anjada Gandu’ got him popularity. Mana Mechchida Hudugi got him best comedian award at state level. Sambhavami Yuge Yuge, Taaligaagi, Chukki Chandrama, Kiladi Tatha and other Kannada films given him good recognition.

 
Karnataka Academy award, Vishwa Kannada Sammenala award from government of Karnataka, V Shankare Gowda award, Taralabalu honor, Murugamatha honour was also bestowed on him.
